Ida has been playing pool for 30 years.  She started playing pool because her parents bought the family a Montgomery Wards pool table and put it in the garage. They had to open the freezer door for some shots to clear!

Ida loves most about pool:  "Knowing that I have at least one thing I'm good at."

Ida's cousin, Terry, influenced her to play. "He used to beat me every game when I was a kid. I promised myself I would get good enough to beat him.......I am."

Ida finished in the money seveal times on the old Texas Tour, and has played in the Amateur Nationals, Texas State Tournaments and APA Leagues and BCA Leagues
