Yolanda played pool for over 8 years.  She started playing pool because her College Work Study job was managing the dormitory recreation center. They had ping-pong, darts, soccer, basketball, and of course POOL. She spent some time knocking balls around, and later, when she won their first college pool championships she was hooked. She also won the ping-pong title as well!

What did Yolanda love most about pool?  " The challenge and complexity it presents. Also, getting to travel and meeting different people. "

Her influenced Yolanda?  "I really can't give any credit to any particular person. However, I enjoy wathing the professional women in television. They make it seem so easy. "

Yolanda's highest finish was 9th-12th at Alvin in Nov 2003.  Yolanda also placed high in the Second Chance Tournaments.

Yolanda passed away in Jan of 2005.  She is deeply missed. Our sister had a great passion for Pool, she loved every aspect of the game.  She especially loved the comradery among all the pool players.  So to ''Yo da Show," 'Rack'em'.
