The Hunter Classics Amateur Women's Tour held their third event of the year in Tulsa , Oklahoma at beautiful Magoo's Billiards. With lots of space, high ceilings, great food and a wonderful atmosphere, the 50 ladies who entered the tournament were in for an exceptional time playing 9-ball on the 14 9-foot tables.

By Sunday morning only 12 ladies remained in the main event.  After a couple of rounds, Amanda Lampert from
San Antonio was defeated by Bonnie Plowman from Colorado 7-4. Unfortunately for Amanda, Bonnie put her on the one-loss side earlier on Saturday.  The other one-loss side match saw Heather Lloyd win over Terry Petrosino with a score of 7-5. Terry and Amanda both had a great tournament placing 5th/6 th. Terry came off a win over Leslie Anne Rogers 7-4 while Amanda won over Helen Hayes 7-4 on Sunday morning. The winner's bracket matches saw Lisa Brannen from Little Rock , Arkansas winning over Bonnie Plowman and young ace Anna Kostanian from Albuquerque winning over Heather Lloyd from Austin.  Anna didn't stop there and defeated Lisa Brannen 7-1 for the hot seat, while she waited to see who her opponent would be in the finals.   Bonnie Plowman kept winning her matches on the one-loss side and defeated Heather Lloyd 7-5, then Lisa Brannen 7-5 to play Anna in the finals.  Bonnie continued her streak of wins by winning the first set against Anna 7-3.   The next match was closer, and at 4-4 it was anyone's game, with both ladies playing very well - and the spectators loved the close match and excellent play.   Anna won the next three games to end the match and capture 1 st place.  Anna won $750 for her efforts, including the coveted Qualifier for the BCA Pro Championships in May!

Bonnie earned $600 for 2nd place while Lisa Brannen earned $440 placing 3rd.   Heather won $300 for her 4th place finish and Amanda and Terry earned $170 for 5 th/6th place.  Placing 7th/8th was Leslie Anne Rogers and Cristina DelaGarza. 9th-12th
places were filled by Helen Hayes, Tara McCracken, Lisa Henderson-Major
and Kim Pierce.

The second chance tournament had 27 women enter the $100 added tournament and Karen Lincoln from Shawnee , Kansas came out on top winning $120.  Annie Doyle from Austin, Texas placed 2nd and won $90 and 3rd place was filled by Jillian "Killer" Valles from Houston who won $60.
