Courtney has been playing for since 2003

Courtney started playing pool because:
I moved to Oklahoma for a while, and then moved back to Texas. When I moved back, I lived in a different area and didn't know anyone. I became good friends with a girl that I worked with, and we started going to Slick Willies to play pool. She started to date one of the local players. and I became close friends with his best friend. All 4 of us would hang out up there almost every night. I really didn't ever hang out with anyone but them. Eventually we had a falling out, and I was left with no friends and nothing to do. We visited another local pool room one night, Breakers Billiards. The atmosphere seemed friendly, so I started going there everyday and playing pool, because I had nothing better to do. Anyway, I met a bunch of new people and fell in love with pool. I now currently play almost daily at Legends Billiards in League City.

Courtney loves most about pool:
I learn something new everyday!!!

Did someone influence Courtney? :
The biggest influence I have while playing is: Jason Bacon. He has shown me more in the short time that I have been playing than anyone else could have ever shown me. He's brought my mental and physical game to new levels, and I owe him the world for it. He practices with me everyday and continues to be patient with me.

Courney wants people to know about her:
Pool is one of the biggest parts of my life, even though I have been playing for a very short time. I really want to be someone in the world of pool. 3 yrs ago, my father passed away from cancer, and I want to be great at something I love, to make him proud. If you ever notice a little silver clip on my back pocket or in my hand, its a money clip that belonged to my father. It was given to him 35 years ago and he carried it with him everyday. Its my good luck charm.

Courtney's highest finish has been 5th/6th in Lake Jackson April 2006 and League City August 2006.

Courtney submitted her bio online. You can, too!
